Saving a preset... Access Denied! ...

Okay, I'm trying to save a preset. I've tweeked apple's "velocity bass" (es2) and I want to save my tweaked version. Apple says:

Couldn't create file!
Permission was denied, probably due to insufficient access rights.

What is this about? I want to save this preset so I can use it in another project! Obnoxious! Help!
