Logic 9 vs HD system ...

Hi,

I'm trying to use the 32 ins and outs from our 2x 96 I/O's and a Sonic Core A16 in Logic 9.
I'm able to do this in Pro Tools it seems, but is this actually possible in Logic?
I've been trying to use Core Audio with DAE, DAE and TDM, Core Audio and TDM, but no results yet. Core Audio alone of course only offers me 8 ins and outs.
Am I being a newbie, or is something up?

Any thoughts of wisdom would be most appreciated!
