HELP! Recordings out of time! ...

So I'm in the middle of a project, and up until now, everything has been gonig smoothly. But lately, when I record something, I go to play it back, and it is few ticks later than it was actually recorded.
Yes, I am current on all software and drivers for my interface.
What could be causing this?
